An incredible fundraising walk to summit the highest mountain in Wales and England.BOOK NOW
At 1085 metres above sea level, Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and higher than any mountain in England. While it's a formidable challenge to summit this beauty, with training it's possible for many. This wonderful opportunity is in support of the Aiming Higher charitywho are a Blackpool based charity that supports families with disabled children across Blackpool, Wyre and Flyde. Walk date: 1st July 2023 from Llanberis in north Wales. Once you have registered for your walk you'll receive an email with kit list for your walk and further details of where to meet on the morning of your walk. You'll also receive 10% discount via Ellis Brigham, online and in-store. We will be walking up and down the Llanberis Path which is around 10.5 miles in total with 1,000 metres of height gain. We will go at a steady pace and there will be a high ration of Guides to walkers meaning that some can walk faster, some can walk slow, and we will ensure you are kept safe and well. Our aim is to start at 09:00 with a briefing at 08:45 as a group. Finish time could be anything between 15:30 and 17:30 depending on how much time is needed. Cost of registration includes a t-shirt and finisher medal along with fully qualified mountain guides. We ask that you commit to raise a minimum of £200 per walker. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and they are at the risk of the owner. Lots of accommodation is available in Llanberis for all budgets. On the day registration will be open from 08:00 to collect your t-shirt and any add on's you may have purchased. Car parking is available in the area and could be anything from £4.00 to £6.00 and it's worth having change incase the card machine isn't working.
